Hi everyone! We are going to try keeping a blog site for the Lower Room to see if it helps us all stay up to date with the happenings of our beloved Sunday School Class. Instead of a lesson today, we spent a lot of time talking about the class and our plans for the next few months. We have several events in the next few months. Our Habitat for Humanity day will be Saturday, October 13th. We will meet at the church parking lot at 6:45 am and carpool. We also will not be having a lesson next Sunday since the majority of us will be out of town. However, we plan to have a guest teacher through the rest of October who will be talking about "Bad Women of the Bible"...stay tuned. Finally, our ladies Wednesday night Bible study group is going to be discussing Chapter 3 of Rob Bell' book, "Velvet Elvis" this Wednesday. We usually meet in the parlor at 6:30.

Hey, just wanted to say thank you for all the thoughts and prayers as we waited for Jackson to get here. We are home and learning the ropes of life with a newborn, which is much harder than I anticipated. I can't wait to introduce the little guy to everyone! Good luck with Habitat for Humanity. Hopefully next go round I'll be there too.
