Putting aside bitterness

This week our lesson was about Michal, the first wife of David. Susan Stewart continued her series on women in the bible for us and we discussed Michal's hard life that ended in her bitter and angry confrontation with David. Eventhough Michal had lived a hard life and had many reasons to be angry with David, she chose bitterness over a relationship with God. I think we all can learn a lot from this story!! I guess I will be keeping my mouth shut when Justin plays Halo tonight!
Wyatt's bowling party was a success. Stephanie, Ashley, and Tyler were headed back for another round of bowling today because they had so much fun!
Please keep Joe and Christa in your prayers this week as they anticipate the arrival of little Kyle and remember to pray for Joe's aunt and family.

Hooray for Fall!

We had a great lesson this week from Susan Stewart. She is doing her "Bad Girls of the Bible" series for us. This week we talked about Eve and her role in creation and original sin. We had a great discussion about keeping your marriage healthy. Ladies, have you started your gratitude journals?
